Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said that he had a trusting relationship with US President Joseph Biden, reports TASS.
“As for the results of my visit to the United States, they are all set out in a joint statement. On my own behalf, I would like to add that we were able to build a trusting relationship with President Biden, ”he said.
Note that Suga became the first foreign leader to meet personally with Biden as President of the United States.
Earlier, Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan said that the meeting between the US and Russian presidents should take place under suitable conditions.
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov commented on the possibility of Putin’s participation in the climate summit. It was noted that the meeting between the presidents of Russia and the United States could take place on the neutral side.
