Japanese PM calls North Korea’s ongoing missile testing regrettable

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida called it regrettable that North Korea continues to conduct missile tests, TASS reports.

“It is extremely unfortunate that North Korea continues to carry out rocket launches, as it did last year,” he said.

The prime minister explained that Japan continues to analyze information about the DPRK’s launch on Wednesday, but cannot yet provide accurate data.

Earlier, the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea reported that the DPRK had fired an unknown projectile, presumably a ballistic missile, towards the Sea of Japan.

It is noted that this is the first test of the DPRK’s weapons this year.

Recall that on the morning of October 19, information appeared that the North Korean military launched a short-range ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan.
