The first racket of the world and the current winner of the Australian Open, Novak Djokovic, will compete with Russian Aslan Karatsev in the semifinal match of the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, TASS reports.
In the quarterfinals, the Serbian athlete defeated German Alexander Zverev. The match, which lasted 3 hours and 30 minutes, ended with a score of 6: 7 (6: 8), 6: 2, 6: 4, 7: 6 (8: 6).
The 33-year-old Djokovic thus reaches the 1/2 finals of the Australian Open tennis championship, where he will meet with Russian tennis player Aslan Karatsev. The semi-finals will take place on Thursday 18 February.
