The Israeli government approved the introduction of a complete quarantine from September 18 due to the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection, reports the Yediot Ahronot publication.
According to the information source, the restrictive measures will take effect from 14:00 Friday and will last exactly three weeks.
Thus, the country will temporarily restrict the movement of citizens, Israelis will not be allowed to leave their homes at a distance of more than 500 meters. In addition, educational institutions, offices will be closed, the work of cafes and restaurants, hotels, gyms will be suspended.
The corresponding changes will not affect vital industries, the message says.
