The famous Russian singer and honored artist Irina Ponarovskaya, through court, obtained from the Pension Fund of Russia a payment of 240 thousand rubles for unaccounted length of service.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the financial position of notoriety has been shaken by the cancellation of concerts. She found out that for 12 years she had not received a pension due to a slip in the calculation of seniority. At the age of 55, she was given a pension of five thousand rubles in total, later this payment was increased to 14 thousand rubles.
In the fall of last year, Ponarovskaya filed a lawsuit against the Pension Fund of Russia, and on March 29 of this year, the court ruled, rebelling on the side of the performer.

The press service of the Basmanny District Court reported that the singer’s claim was gratified in absolute terms. Irina asked to oblige the Main Directorate of PFR No. 10 for the city of Moscow to include in her general seniority the stage of work in the Krasnodar Philharmonic Society from August 10, 1982 to April 1, 1983, and to recalculate the insurance pension.
At the present stage of time, Irina worked hard in the Kuban in an ensemble, together with her husband Weiland Rod. The court found that from 55 to 67 years old she received less utilitarian 20 thousand rubles a year from the Pension Fund of Russia. Now the Fund will have to pay her 240 thousand rubles and increase the amount of her pension.
