Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi said that he knew the organizers of the assassination attempt, who sent a drone with explosives to his residence in Baghdad, RIA Novosti writes.
“We will pursue those who committed the assassination attempt, we know well who they are, and we will expose,” the politician said and added that “the hand of justice will reach the killers of the country’s national intelligence officer, Nebras Farman.”
The attack on the residence of the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mustafa al-Kazemi, which is located in the “green zone” of Baghdad, was carried out on November 7. The politician was not injured, ten guards were injured.
American leader Joe Biden condemned the assassination attempt on Mustafa al-Kazemi and offered to help with the investigation. The US State Department called the incident an act of terrorism.
