Investors have invested 1 trillion 300 billion rubles in the Far East, TASS reports with reference to the representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD) Yuri Trutnev.
According to him, since 2013, the share of foreign investment in the Far East has increased 16 times – from 2% to 32%. An absolutely new opportunity has appeared for the development of the social sphere, Trutnev noted.
The volume of private investment in the Far East has already reached 1 trillion 300 billion. According to Trutnev, by 2024 investments will quadruple, which will amount to 5 trillion rubles.
In addition, Trutnev added that over a thousand different social facilities are being built under the social development program, more than 100 billion rubles of budget funds are invested. Not only is the standard of living in the region improved, but opportunities are also created for new investment projects.
