A criminal case has been opened in Ukraine against the head of the Ministry of Justice Denis Malyuska, Ukrainian News writes.
It is noted that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) opened a case on the fact of a possible illegal takeover of the enterprise.
According to reports, the director of the New Fuel Company on February 19 appealed to NABU with a statement about the crime. Thus, it was alleged that the head of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, his first deputy and their subordinates committed deliberate actions aimed at unlawful seizure of the property of the company and 19 other business entities. Meanwhile, after receiving the application, NABU did not enter the data into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.
The initiators of the claim subsequently filed a complaint with the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court, which satisfied it and ordered NABU to open criminal proceedings. On March 23, the court’s decision was executed, and a pre-trial investigation was launched.
Denis Malyuska was elected a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the presidential party “Servant of the People”, but in August 2019 withdrew from his mandate in connection with the appointment to the post of head of the Ministry of Justice of the country.
