In Ukraine, called the cost of gas “crazy”

The mayor of the city of Shostka in the Sumy region of Ukraine, Mykola Noga, said on the air of the Nash TV channel that the cost of gas this year is “crazy”.

The official noted that the current heating season is extremely difficult. He added that tariffs remained the same, but people have to pay extra for gas transportation and heating. According to the mayor, the population is very concerned about this issue.

Earlier, the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anatoly Mogilev said that due to high gas prices in the country, enterprises are massively closed. Businessmen from the dairy industry also noted that they can completely stop production or reduce production due to the too high cost of gas.

Due to a shortage of fuel, including coal, 23 thermal power plants and thermal power plants were suspended in Ukraine.
