In connection with the regular shelling of the Zaporizhzhya NPP by the Ukrainian troops around the nuclear power plant, the air defense group was strengthened. This was announced by a member of the local CAA Vladimir Rogov.
“The air defense group was strengthened, enlarged, and thanks to this, what flies and can be shot down by air defense, it goes astray,” he said on Channel One.
Earlier, Rogov said that the Ukrainian military is using weapons supplied by NATO countries to strike at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Fragments of an American GMLRS missile, which are used by the American MLRS M270 and HIMARS, were found in the area of shelling.
