In the Russian Federation, a rapid test has been developed to detect antibodies to COVID after vaccination

The first rapid test to detect antibodies to coronavirus after vaccination was registered in Russia.

It requires one drop of blood. The test result will be ready in 15 minutes. Its reliability is 96%, RBC reports.

The reagents of the test, developed by the Skolkovo resident, Rapid BIO, together with Avivir, are tuned, first of all, for the Sputnik V vaccine, created by the NF Gamaleya Center.

Currently, three vaccines are registered in our country. In addition to “Sputnik V”, these are EpiVacCorona preparations from the Novosibirsk center “Vector” and “KoviVac” from the Center named after V.I. Chumakov.

According to the latest data, more than 8 million people have been vaccinated from COVID-19 in Russia.

According to the WHO, as of April 18, residents of different countries around the world received about 780 million doses of coronavirus vaccine.

However, more than 87% of vaccinations were given in high- and upper-middle-income countries. Low-income states account for only 0.2% of doses.
