From September 1, students and teachers of Russian universities will have to wear protective masks indoors, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science.
According to the head of the department Valery Falkov, this measure will allow organizing the educational process, observing the rules for the prevention of COVID-19.
At the same time, students and teachers who have antibodies to the new virus can attend classes without masks. It is noted that for this it is necessary to present a medical certificate. Teachers may also not wear a protective mask when giving lectures.
As specified in the ministry, educational institutions should provide the teaching staff and all students with masks.
In addition, devices for air disinfection will appear at universities with the beginning of the academic year. Everyone who comes to the university will have their temperature measured to reduce the risks of infection, Falkov said.
Earlier, residents of the capital were reminded of the importance of wearing masks in public places.
