Russians will be able to take part in the population census on the portal of state services until November 14. This was announced by the deputy head of Rosstat Pavel Smelov, reports TASS.
According to him, it was decided to postpone the deadline for the end of the All-Russian population census in the online format from November 8 to November 14 against the background of a sharp increase in those wishing to correspond on the portal. Smelov explains this by the introduction of restrictive measures in all regions of the country.
According to Rosstat data, to date, over 63% of citizens have already taken part in the population census, which is about 90 million people. Of these, 20 million used the self-census service on the public services portal.
The All-Russian census takes place from October 15 to November 14. Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs told how the census takers should act if no one is at home.
