In Moscow, a bus driver beat up a passenger who refused to put on a mask, the Podyem newspaper reported, citing an eyewitness to the conflict.

According to the interlocutor of the publication, the fight took place at about 16:00 on Bolshaya Tulskaya Street. The video provided by the eyewitness shows how the driver approaches the man and punches him in the face. From the impact, the passenger falls on the asphalt.

Mosgortrans confirmed to RIA Novosti the information that the driver used force against the passenger. According to the press service of the company, "the passenger in the cabin behaved inappropriately, provoked a conflict with other passengers and broke the bus window."

Telegram channel Baza, referring to a video of a surveillance camera installed in the bus, reported that a conflict arose between two passengers. One of them allegedly at first did not allow the doors to close, and then broke the glass with a bottle. At this moment, the driver intervened in the situation.

According to the channel, the driver was suspended from work, and representatives of the Department of Transport are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
