In Lithuania, exercises began with the participation of the combined NATO battalion

The forward-based combined NATO battalion stationed in Lithuania will take part in the Rising Stallion exercise. This was reported in the command of the army of the republic.

“Rising Stallion exercises of the NATO Forward Force Battalion Combat Team began this night on high alert,” the statement said.

On September 20, the military and over 240 units of military equipment will move out of the city of Rukla in the direction of the training ground in Pabrade, this city borders on Belarus.

Military maneuvers are designed to help develop the readiness of military personnel for the largest annual international exercises in Lithuania, Gelezinis vilkas (“Iron Wolf”).
