In Kaliningrad, tourists will be accommodated in hotels only by QR code or PCR

Check-in at hotels, hotels, guest houses, hostels and other accommodation facilities in the Kaliningrad region from October 28 to November 7, 2021 will be carried out only by a QR code on vaccination or a negative PCR test done no earlier than 72 hours. This was reported by Minister of Culture and Tourism Andriy Ermak on your social media page.

Hotel owners, tour operators and travel agents will have to warn potential guests of Kaliningrad about such changes in advance.

Recall Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the introduction of days off from October 30 to November 7. In regions that are attractive from the point of view of tourism, to which the Kaliningrad region belongs, they feared an influx of citizens who received a weekend from other cities. The need to provide proof of vaccination or negative PCR should discourage the influx of visitors.
