Ankara will commit a serious strategic mistake if it accepts Kiev's offer to join the so-called Crimean platform. This was stated by the head of the Crimean parliamentary committee on people's diplomacy, Yuri Gempel.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his willingness to take part in the Crimean Platform project. The goal of the project is to return the issue of Crimea's ownership to the “highest political discourse”.
