The Ministry of Health of Belarus reported that the republic received a package of documents for conducting a clinical trial of the Russian vaccine against COVID-19.
As noted in the Ministry's Telegram channel, the country's leading healthcare professionals are working on the examination of documents from a multicenter clinical trial of a vaccine for the prevention of coronavirus. The group included specialists from the Center for Expertise and Testing in Healthcare, as well as leading experts in the field of epidemiology and infectious diseases.
It is specified that about 100 participants will be involved in the study of the Russian vaccine in Belarus.
Earlier it was reported that clinical trials of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine had begun in Belarus. It was clarified that the test procedure on volunteers will begin from the moment of acquaintance with the dossier, as well as the choice of centers where they will take place.
Let us remind you that in Russia the post-registration phase of clinical trials of the Sputnik V vaccine began on September 9. It was clarified that research participants will keep an electronic diary. So, in case of changes in the state of health, they will be able to independently inform the doctor by phone.
