In 2021, Russians vaccinated against coronavirus will be able to receive "covid passports"

According to the head of the department, in order to obtain an immune passport, it is enough to go to your personal account on public services, all data will be loaded automatically, no applications need to be submitted. At the moment, a special resource has been created in Russia to enter information about who received the vaccine, Murashko said at a meeting of the presidium of the government’s coordinating council on combating coronavirus.

The idea of introducing such passports was previously supported by the director of the center. Gamalei Alexander Gunzburg.

“” Covid passports “is an absolutely correct thing that must be introduced simultaneously with the start of vaccination, so that each vaccinated person has a document confirming that he has been vaccinated,” the scientist said.

Mikhail Murashko also reported on the delivery of 570 thousand doses of the Sputnik V vaccine to the regions of Russia over the past three weeks. He noted that the supply of the drug is being carried out in accordance with the approved schedule. In addition, logistic passports of readiness for vaccination of all subjects of the federation have been submitted to the government.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the planned production volumes of the vaccine – it is assumed that 2.5 million doses of the drug will be produced by the end of the year. In January, taking into account the adjustment of the plans, the production volume will amount to 3.5 million doses, by April – 18 million. Presumably, by July 30 million doses of Sputnik V vaccine will be produced in Russia.
