“I lived in hell”: Victoria Korotkova, who shot down a man to death, first contacted journalists

The finalist of the show “The Bachelor” in the fall of last year became the culprit of a fatal accident, knocking down a man to death. A drunken man in the middle of the night decided to run across the multi-lane Kutuzovsky Avenue and fell under the wheels of Korotkova. After the accident, the model disappeared from the media space. Now she first contacted journalists.

“I swear, there was a feeling that I could not stand it. I remember how the girls just put me to bed. They lay down with me under the covers, hugged me and said that everything will be fine, you just hold on. It’s very important when this happens, to feel support of friends who are ready to share grief, “Korotkova shared.

To come to her senses, the reality TV participant works with psychologists.

“I was crushed. The guys took my phone away from me, removed the applications so that nothing would be an eyesore. Because you still reflexively enter and look. So I cut myself off from the outside world. I didn’t leave the house. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, I could only think. When I managed to fall asleep, it lasted no more than twenty minutes – I almost immediately woke up as if from a blow: I dreamed of the accident again and again, “Victoria said.

After the incident, the girl is afraid to get behind the wheel, preferring to ride with a driver.

“While I’m not ready to drive, now only with a driver. At first, when I was driving through the scene of the accident, I closed my eyes, because I could not react calmly, I was tormented by flashbacks. I lived in hell,” the reality TV participant admitted. “I didn’t feel good at the click, I didn’t manage to return at the moment and live the old life. Objectively, my life has changed. I don’t know if it will ever be the same as before,” Korotkova summed up.

By the way, they did not initiate a criminal case against her. It is reported that technical expertise, as well as recordings from cameras and testimony of witnesses showed that the model had no opportunity to avoid a fatal collision with the deceased, and there was no corpus delicti in Victoria’s actions.
