Hungary highly appreciated the Russian vaccine “Sputnik V”

The Sputnik V vaccine has proven itself well in Hungary, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov before the start of negotiations with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Siyarto.

“I know that the test batches of our Sputnik V vaccine have worked well in Hungary. And we support the further development of cooperation in this area, ”RIA Novosti quotes Lavrov as saying.

Earlier it was reported that Hungary and Russia signed an agreement on the supply of the Sputnik V vaccine. The drug will be delivered to the republic in three stages.

It was Hungary that became the first EU country to register a Russian vaccine against coronavirus. The registration of the drug was carried out according to an accelerated procedure based on the results of clinical trials in the Russian Federation and the estimates of Hungarian experts.

Research of “Sputnik V” can start in Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia. Several European countries are also interested in the drug.
