The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin invited the scientific director of the Higher School of Economics (HSE) Yaroslav Kuzminov to head the expert council under the government.
The head of the council should organize the interaction of the government, employees and apparatus, federal ministers with the expert community. In particular, the council will coordinate its work with Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko.
Mishustin expressed confidence that Kuzminov will cope with this task.
Kuzminov, in turn, thanked the prime minister for the proposal and asked to give the council the right to initiate information.
As a reminder, this summer Kuzminov left the post of HSE rector, which he held for 28 years. He was also one of the authors of the 1997 education reform, participated in the work on the “Strategy 2020” and a number of other reforms of the economy and public administration system.
