How to use potatoes for skin health?

Potato face mask naturally eliminates age spots by discoloring them. This is a cheaper alternative to harsh chemical creams!

1. Potato face mask for skin tightening

This is the easiest way to apply potatoes on the skin. For best results, always clean your face first.


  • Peel 1 potato.
  • Cut into 2 or 3 slices 1 cm each.
  • Rub each piece into your skin. Focus on pigmented areas.
  • Wash off after 15 minutes.

2. Potato mask for skin discoloration

Blend mashed potatoes in a blender. Use it every day as a regular treatment. If you have leftovers, store them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh.


  • 1 potato peeled and cut into cubes.
  • Beat until smooth. There shouldn’t be chunks.
  • Apply 1 tablespoon to your face.
  • Wait 15 minutes and wash off.

  • Mix 1 tablespoon of mashed potatoes and 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
  • Mix until a paste forms. Add more baking soda if needed.
  • Rub into skin for 15-20 seconds.

To avoid irritation, rinse immediately and towel dry.

6. Potato and strawberry mask for healthy skin

For even more vitamin C, add strawberries. Nutrients will make your skin firmer and more protected. In addition, the mask will smell amazing!


  • Mash 2-3 strawberries and the same amount of potatoes.

  • Run the potatoes through a juicer.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon potato juice with 1 tablespoon green tea.
  • Apply to face with toner.
  • To make a mask, mix 1 tablespoon of mashed potatoes and 1 tea bag of green tea leaves.
  • Mix well and rub on your face.
  • Wash off after 15 minutes and pat dry.
