In summer cottages and in the private sector, the 4G signal is not strong enough. In this case, an antenna connection is required to the modem. This is a very expensive device that can be made by hand in order to save money.

Antenna manufacturing process
Before making an antenna, you need to find out the operating frequency of the Internet transmission from your provider. This information is provided by the operator, and it can also be determined by special applications on the phone. Having learned the signal frequency, you need to find the antenna drawings for it on specialized sites. Most often 4G is transmitted on 2600 MHz.
According to the found drawing, discs of the specified size are cut out of tin or can lids. For example, for the most common frequency 2600 MHz, you need 3 with a diameter of 30 mm, and one each 41 mm, 57 mm and 76 mm.
6 mm holes are drilled in the center of the discs.
The discs are clamped on a stud between the nuts. It is important to keep the distance between them as in the selected drawing.
A hole is drilled in the largest disc, offset from the edge according to the drawing, and the F-connector for the cable is inserted into it. Opposite it, you need to solder the central core of the wire inserted into the connector to the next disk.
A mounting bracket is screwed onto the end of the stud in front of the large disc. Antenna cable is attached to it with electrical tape or secured with a clamp.
The antenna is hung on a pole, pole or front wall behind a corner.
A connector for the modem input is connected to the other end of the wire. If it does not provide for the connection of an external antenna, then the end of the wire must be stripped by 50-60 cm to the central core. It simply wraps around the modem case. Even with this connection, the signal and the speed of the Internet will increase.
It remains only to experimentally set the direction of the antenna, in which the modem will catch the best.
