This lamp will greatly facilitate your life both in the workshop and in other dark rooms such as a pantry. Turns on and off with one touch, has bright light and long run time. Powered by the common 18650 battery.
You will need the following:
Making a sensor lamp made of PVC pipes with your own hands
A piece of PVC pipe is put into a spacer of wooden slats and heated with a construction hairdryer until the plastic softens.
As a result, a round piece turns into a rectangular one.
Let’s put together a device diagram. Let’s take the sensor module and check the absence of jumper “A” and the presence of jumper “B” on the board. If they stand the other way around, change it with a soldering iron. This procedure is needed to fix the output signal from the module.
The module is connected very simply by 3 contacts: on the sides there is a power supply, in the center is a logical state output. On the transistor, we will assemble the key for switching the LED strip. We solder the transistor directly to the board.
We solder the resistor.
We solder the wires from the LED strip through the transistor and power from the battery. We install the battery in the box and check the operation.
When you touch the sensor, the LED bar turns on. And also turns off when touched again.
Drill a hole for the sensor in the body from the side.
We cut the windows for the battery holder and the LED. Cut out the side plugs. We install all the filling inside the body and glue it.
We close all the elements and paint the body with aerosol paint black.
The lamp is ready. We install the battery in the holder.
We place it under the shelf. Just touch it and the light turns on, the result will be a great illuminated place.
Several such lamps can be made and placed in all places where short-term illumination is needed.
