Over time, we even get used to the taste of our favorite coffee. At such moments, the soul asks for experiments. Therefore, today we will talk about which syrups can be used to give the drink a new shade of taste. We have prepared several recommendations for you, since not every syrup goes well with all types of coffee.
Syrups for coffee
To find the syrup, pay attention to the strength of the coffee.
Fruit and berry fillings are suitable for light and weak varieties: cherries, raspberries, strawberries, or a mixture of them.
For lovers of strong coffee (Americano, espresso), it is better to give preference to syrups with chocolate, caramel or vanilla flavor.
The bitterness of some coffees can be softened by cinnamon or almond notes. The piquant sourness of Arabica can be emphasized with a couple of drops of amaretto filler, Irish cream, or set off with a chocolate or nutty flavor.
If you prefer coffee with milk, then you should not add syrups with mint, lime and lemon to your drink. Milk may curdle.
Remember that regular coffee syrups are high in calories. There are special low-calorie fructose syrups. They turn out to be very sweet, and for making coffee you will need 2 times less of such a flavoring filler.
