"How do I start meditating?" ⠀ ✨ Recently, I have been receiving such a request more and more often and decided to create a special section for it, in which we will master this topic step by step. Any YOUR goal will do: ⠀ • hear yourself and feel your true needs • learn to relax effectively • reduce anxiety and improve the quality of sleep • enhance the ability to focus and direct your attention, which means • develop the ability to consciously and continuously stay "here and now" • increase the overall level of energy • become open and benevolent towards the world and people • feel the state of unity and harmony of the inner with the outer ⠀ STEP 1️⃣ ⠀ When the goal is chosen, determine the time - the effect of any practice depends on its regularity. It is better if it is morning when no one will disturb you. You can start from 10-15 minutes, gradually increasing the duration. ⠀ Make sure you are comfortable in a sitting position with your back straight. You can sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor, or sit cross-legged on the floor. Place your hands loosely on your hips, palms up. ⠀ Close your eyes, push off the surface and stretch upward behind the crown. Eliminate the arch in the lower back and gently tilt your chest forward and upward and shoulders backward and downward. Take a few deep breaths in and out through your mouth, releasing all tension from your body. Flow your attention from the crown of your head to the tips of your fingers and toes, relaxing deeper with each exhalation. The crown continues to gently pull you up, and the back remains as flat as possible. ⠀ Observe your sensations in the body - what is taking your attention? What areas store the most intense stress centers? How do you feel alone with yourself? A meditating person looks motionless only from the outside. Inside, meanwhile, there are many processes - observation, research, awareness, understanding and transformation.
