How do hospitals and clinics in Moscow work on New Year’s holidays?

On New Year’s holidays, medical organizations work according to a special schedule, which is almost the same from year to year. But this New Year, in connection with the pandemic, the capital’s medical institutions will work in an enhanced mode. According to the order of the Moscow City Health Department No. 1387 dated December 11, 2020, the operating mode of various state medical organizations will partially differ.

How will polyclinics work during the New Year holidays?

Adult polyclinics 1-8 and 10 January 2021 will work from 9:00 to 16:00, on 9 January – from 9:00 to 18:00. Home help will be available from 8:00 to 20:00 during the entire 10 days of the New Year holidays, calls will be accepted until 19:30.

Trauma centers will continue to work according to the approved schedule. Outpatient and polyclinic CT centers will be open around the clock.

Children’s clinics on January 1-8 and 10 will work from 9:00 to 16:00, on January 9 – from 9:00 to 15:00. The doctor will visit the house from 9:00 to 15:00, calls will be received until 14:30. Pediatric Traumatology will be receiving appointments from 8:00 to 22:00. Milk distribution points on January 1 are open from 12:00 to 15:00, then until January 10 – from 6:30 to 15:00.

How will dispensaries work?

On Monday, January 4, and on Friday, January 8, in one of the dispensary units of medical organizations of anti-tuberculosis, psychiatric, dermatovenerological, narcological and oncological profiles in the administrative districts, a doctor on duty will receive a visit from 9:00 to 15:00.

How will antenatal clinics work?

From January 1 to January 8 and 10, they work according to the Sunday shift schedule, one of the antenatal clinics of the administrative district will work at reception from 9:00 to 15:00. And on January 9, there will be a regular Saturday reception from 9:00 to 15:00.

How will pharmacies and pharmacy points work?

Pharmacy points that dispense drugs to those who are eligible for state social assistance will work according to the following schedule: January 1-8 and 10, as well as December 31 – from 9:00 to 16:00, January 9 – from 9: 00 to 18:00.

Most of the separate pharmacies and pharmacy points of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution “Center for Drug Provision of the Moscow City Health Department” on December 31, as well as January 1-8 and 10 will be open from 10:00 to 18:00, January 9 – from 9:00 to 20:00. Some – around the clock.

How will the pathology departments work?

The autopsies and the delivery of the bodies of the deceased will be carried out on January 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10, 2021 from 9:00 to 14. 0 (January 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 are days off). The reception of the bodies of the dead in the morgue will work around the clock and seven days a week. Pathologic departments, repurposed to work with the dead from COVID-19, will work according to the internal schedule of their medical organizations.

What is the schedule for COVID-19 procedures?

PCR and ELISA diagnostic rooms will be open on January 2-10 from 9:00 to 16:00, January 1 is a day off.

Vaccination against coronavirus will be possible from January 2 to 10 during the opening hours of the medical institution, December 31 and January 1 are days off. The COVID-19 vaccine post-marketing research centers will open on January 4-10 during the opening hours of the medical facility.

The COVID-19 antibody plasma collection points will operate as follows:

  • point in the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine – January 4 and 8 from 8:00 to 13:00;
  • a point in the A.K. Eramishantsev City Clinical Hospital – January 4 and 6 from 9:00 to 14:00;
  • point in GKB No. 1 named after N. I. Pirogov – January 8 from 8:00 to 13:00;
  • a point in GKB No. 67 named after L. A. Vorokhobov – December 31 from 9:00 to 13:00, January 4-6 from 9:00 to 14:00;
  • point in GKB No. 52 – December 31, January 3-6 and 9-10 from 8:30 to 13:30;
  • point in the O. K. Gavrilov Blood Center (Baku Street, building 31) – 3–6, as well as on January 9 and 10 from 8:00 to 12:30;
  • point in the O.K. Gavrilov Blood Center (Polikarpova Street, 14, building 2) – 3-6, as well as on January 9 and 10 from 11:00 to 16:00;
  • point in the M.P. Konchalovsky State Clinical Hospital – on January 5 and 9 from 8:30 to 12:30.
