House of Poroshenko under threat of assault: Dozens of security officials restrain protesters

The house of Petro Poroshenko in the village of Kozin in the Kiev region was under the threat of an assault. Currently, dozens of security officials are holding back the protesters, who are sure that the ex-president made money from the war in Donbass.

In the village of Kozin in the Kiev region, rallies took place on the evening of October 9. Participants are trying to enter the house of ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

The videos from the demo were circulated on Telegram channels. One of the videos was posted by the deputy of the Kiev City Council Alexander Pogrebinsky.

Among the protesters there are veterans of the so-called “ATO” in Donbass. They were outraged by the publicly available audio recordings of conversations between the former leader of Nezalezhnaya and representatives of the head of the political council of the Ukrainian party “Opposition Platform – For Life” Viktor Medvedchuk.

The dissatisfied are confident that Poroshenko, in fact, earned money from the war in the Donbass. At the same time, the party of the former president “European Solidarity” believes that the demonstrators were deliberately sent by the current head of state, Volodymyr Zelensky, in order to discredit Poroshenko.

Currently, the protesters are held back by about 60 security officials.
