The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Kirill Dmitriev, believes that vaccine passports for citizens vaccinated against coronavirus may become a reality as early as 2021, for example, for travel by air.
“I think a number of countries will introduce it faster, others will introduce it more slowly. Of course, there will be, among other things, flights on airplanes either by testing systems or by vaccine passports, ”he said on the air of“ Russia 24 ”.
According to him, this is “a kind of reality that we will come to.”
Earlier on Tuesday, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that in January it would be possible to get a passport of a person vaccinated against COVID-19 on the website of state services.
