The Avangard Vladivostok ice hockey club is included in the list of participants in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for the 2021/22 season. This was reported on the official website of the KHL.
24 clubs will take part in the next season. It is noted that Admiral will be allowed to participate if the debt to hockey players and coaches for the 2017/18 season is paid by July 31, 2021.
The Primorsky club played in the KHL from the 2013/14 season to the 2019/20 season. Last year, it was announced that the team withdrew its application for participation in the 2020/21 KHL championship due to the situation with the coronavirus pandemic. It was noted that then the regional authorities redirected budgetary funds intended to finance professional clubs to measures to combat the spread of infection.
