Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris held a telephone conversation with the head of France Emmanuel Macron, reports TASS.
During the conversation, the parties discussed cooperation in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, climate change, as well as resolving conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa.
The US Vice President expressed her commitment to strengthening ties between the two countries and revitalizing the transatlantic alliance.
Harris also drew attention to the contribution of France to the implementation of the Perseverance rover project.
