Their last meeting took place in the Russian capital on 20 August. The last seconds of the conversation were shown on the air of the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” on “Russia 1”.
The Russian leader accompanied the German Chancellor to his car at the Grand Kremlin Palace. They stopped by the car for a moment, continuing their conversation.
