Greece has extended its entry permit to 4 thousand Russians a week

Greece has extended until April 26 the entry permit for 4 thousand Russians a week, the conditions remain the same, RIA Novosti reports.

The new regulation is valid from April 19 to April 26. Residents of the Russian Federation can enter the Greek territory exclusively by air. They must carry a negative COVID-19 test with a certificate in English. Airlines are obliged to check this certificate.

Citizens of Russia, the day before arriving in the country, must fill out an electronic PLF form, indicating their contacts in Greece. A random test for COVID-19 may be done at the airport of arrival.

In Greece, passengers are required to stay in preventive quarantine for 7 days. Violators face a fine of 5 thousand euros.

Earlier it was reported that Greece is ready to receive tourists from the Russian Federation without mandatory quarantine. To do this, visitors must provide a negative PCR test and documents on vaccination.
