Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, in an interview with RIA Novosti, predicted an improvement in the situation with the spread of COVID-19 in Russia by next spring.
Golikova expressed hope that the continuation of vaccination against coronavirus infection will allow in the spring to talk about favorable changes regarding the situation with the new virus on the territory of our state.
To date, as the official noted, a sufficient number of people have already been ill and have natural immunity.
“If after the new year vaccination is promoted even more actively, then, of course, we will receive more positive results in the epidemiological situation,” she summed up.
According to the latest data, the number of infected patients in the Russian Federation has reached 3,078,035; over the past day, 27,787 new cases of the disease have been recorded in Russian regions. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,471,309 people have recovered, 55,265 deaths have been confirmed.
Earlier, British scientists have listed seven symptoms of coronavirus that require an immediate response.
