Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova, on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel, commented on the possibility of introducing a single international certificate of vaccination against coronavirus for travel to other countries.
Golikova believes that the appearance of such a document is unlikely, since its parameters will be difficult to agree between all states.
“It seems to me that this cannot be agreed upon by definition,” she said.
As the Deputy Prime Minister recalled, international rules in this part are developed by the World Health Organization, which to date has registered only one certificate of this kind – on vaccination against yellow fever.
Prior to that, Tatyana Golikova opposed the introduction of analogs of “covid passports” in Russian regions that restrict the movement of people.
In the world, the number of infected patients has exceeded 96.8 million, and 2.09 million people have become victims of the pandemic.
