Chiayi City (Taiwan) is known for its abundance of sunlight, and this allows local residents to actively use solar energy.
Therefore, when it came to decorating the city lake with a luminous installation in honor of the Mid-Autumn Festival, it was decided to use environmentally friendly solar energy.
The crescent-shaped trail, with a diameter of 25 meters, is accessible to walkers who want to take a pleasant walk.
And since the installation, which was created for almost 2 months, was decorated with 1520 solar lanterns, the unusual creation attracted the attention of representatives of the Guinness Book of Records and became a record.
For many citizens, the luminous path has a symbolic meaning. Each solar lantern represents the warmth that can soothe and heal people’s hearts.
