Germany lost to North Macedonia in World Cup qualifier

The German national team lost to the team of North Macedonia in the home match of the qualifying tournament for the 2022 World Cup, TASS reports.

The meeting between the teams ended with a score of 1: 2.

Goran Pandev (45th minute) and Elif Elmas (85) scored on the winning team. Ilkay Gundogan (63) scored from the penalty spot for the hosts.

The match was served by a Russian team of referees headed by Sergey Karasev.

Recall that earlier in the match of the qualifying tournament for the World Cup, the Russian national team lost to rivals from the Slovakian team with a score of 1: 2. In the standings of group H, the national team is in second place.
