Tehran is interested in signing a long-term strategic partnership agreement with Moscow. Chairman of the Iranian Parliamentary Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy told Mehr agency Mojtaba Zulnur…
Earlier, Beijing and Tehran – longtime opponents of Washington – found a common language and signed a 25-year agreement on strategic partnership. According to The New York Times, China is ready to invest $ 400 billion in Iran, plus actively involve the Islamic Republic in its main integration project, One Belt, One Road.
President of the U.S.A Joe Biden, commenting on the “nascent partnership between Beijing and Tehran,” admitted that it “worries” him “for a year.” In Tehran, however, the agreement with Beijing is unambiguously considered a key victory that undermines the position of the United States. And they offer Moscow to form a strategic “triangle”.
“In addition to China, the Islamic Republic of Iran seeks to sign long-term and strategic documents with Russia, which will strengthen bilateral economic ties and pave the way for joint activity,” Mojtaba Zulnur said.
In fact, Tehran and Beijing, by their agreement, nullify a significant part of US sanctions and create leverage over Washington. Why is the Kremlin in no hurry to join them?
– We had a great Soviet country with you – an amazing example of how a disintegrated empire can be peacefully and with dignity assembled in the form of a socialist state, – says Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov… – We had an amazing experience of Leninist-Stalinist modernization, industrialization, cultural revolution, great victories on the battlefields and in space.
The whole planet took an example from us – admired us and learned from us. The Japanese claim that it was from the Soviet country that they learned planning and social programs. The Americans took our science and education as a model, we supplied the best equipment and unique machine tools to Germany and Switzerland.
To destroy our country, it was necessary to offer it an Americanized version of “development”, which was done. But this “development” in fact meant degradation in the interests of the United States and the domestic henchmen of transnational capital. Since 1991 Yeltsin, Gaidar and Chubais – a gang of traitors – built liberal capitalism, which was supposed to serve the American and Western European economies. At the same time, Russia could exist only as a raw material appendage and subservient built into Uncle Sam’s tail.
Then, 30 years ago, the liberals said: now there will be no contradictions, there will be no cold war – now we are ideological brothers with the West, we have a market and democracy. But as soon as we wanted to do something of our own, as soon as Putin in 2007 in Munich declared that Russia has its own geopolitical interests, language and culture, demagogy about fraternal relations with the West ended.
The truth is that the West has been feeding on the body of the killed country – the USSR – for 17 years. But in 2008, a new crisis still broke out. Since then, the global economy has crawled downward, and now the coronavirus has also piled on.
“SP”: – Where is the way out of the situation, from the point of view of the Kremlin?
– The Kremlin is now at a fork. If our authorities continue to build capitalism a la Putin-Yeltsin-Chubais-Gaidar, nothing will come of it. Simply because the metropolis of capital – the United States – has declared Russia its enemy. And it will not allow us to successfully develop within the framework of the system, the levers of which are in America. The Americans do not need us as competitors – therefore they need to neutralize us, crush us, they need to change our leadership to openly pro-American. We need to impose education according to the USE system, we need to kill science and buy up our “brains”.
Now the main question for Putin and his entourage is where to go and with whom to go. Putin must grasp a simple truth: being in conflict with world capital – with globalists – it is impossible to build capitalism. One can only collapse and degrade under the pretext of its construction.
“SP”: – Putin, do you think he understands this?
– They are rushing about in the Kremlin. Putin tried to create a geopolitical counterbalance to the US and NATO. In the same SCO, there is a lot of room for the development of its own markets and finances. True, the locomotive of this system is, of course, China – it produces almost 18% of the world’s industrial output.
Note that the United States has declared both us and China as enemies. Us – for an obvious reason: Russia has a nuclear missile arsenal, which is able to calm down any enemy. But in China, which is typical, the Communist Party is declared the enemy of America – as the force that unites the country.
Xi Jinping said: the main center is the people, their aspirations and interests. And the Chinese have shown what a phenomenal result can be achieved with this approach – they brought 700 thousand people out of poverty. Let me remind you that the UN has set the goal of ending poverty on the planet by 2030. So, the Chinese Communist Party achieved this ten years earlier – exactly on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. I am sure that by the 200th anniversary of the Communist Party, the Celestial Empire will be a mighty, civilized, advanced socialist state.
Beijing is promoting the “One Belt – One Road” program – it rallies, unites on the ideals of construction and the latest technologies. This program, in my opinion, develops the Marxist-Leninist idea of humanism and justice.
If Putin and his liberal entourage are going to continue walking in an embrace with Uncle Sam, he must understand that he will be strangled. If he chooses a strategic partnership with China, that’s a completely different story.
In addition to Russia and China, the SCO includes India, and Iran has the status of an observer state. In fact, the organization includes half the world – this opens up tremendous opportunities. But in order to take advantage of these opportunities, the Kremlin must admit that liberalism of the Americanized sense – with “color” revolutions, bulk and chubais – for Russia means inevitable death. And this is death, including for Putin himself.
Now, while preparing to deliver a message to the Federal Assembly, Putin understands that it is necessary to unite people. But when 50 million people in a country live in poverty or on the verge of poverty – how to rally them? Especially if the authorities do not want to pay people either normal pensions or decent salaries ?!
The idea of a strategic partnership between Russia, China and Iran is very attractive, but it can only be based on a creative program. The national idea for Russia is sovereignty, a sense of collectivism, justice, and strong statehood. This is the way the Communist Party proposes.
