With the laying on of flowers Vladimir Lenin at Smolny and Peter the Great on Senate Square, the chairman began his visit to St. Petersburg Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov… As Gennady Andreevich admitted, he loves the Northern capital very much, visits here regularly, and, despite being very busy, always finds time to bow to its great people and, of course, its heroic defenders during the Great Patriotic War.

This visit is connected with the upcoming Duma elections. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation has a well thought out, clear and specific program on how to lead the country out of the severe political and economic crisis in which it has been in recent years.

Gennady Zyuganov spoke about this in detail at a press conference, in which SP’s own correspondent in St. Petersburg also took part.

It began with a bitterly monologue by the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

In recent years, Russia has lost 20 million of its citizens – more than any other country in the world, he said. – For the current year, 2021, the number of losses is rapidly approaching 800 thousand. Add this to those millions of compatriots who, by the will of unreasonable, to put it mildly, politicians were cut off from their homeland after the collapse of the USSR. If it continues at the same pace, then soon there will be no one to keep our Russian expanses in unity. On which, I will remind, Americans have long had their eyes, and not only they.

The Communist Party first of all took care of social tasks. The richest country in the world, which is Russia, with its resources (they have the entire periodic table!), With a hardworking, selfless people, every year more and more rapidly slides into poverty.

“We have, – reminded the leader of the communists, – only oil and gas sold for 14 trillion rubles. Plus – gold and other export resources. The treasury has at least 60 trillion in stash. And the people have almost nothing. Pensions in the country are simply mocking. In villages, especially remote from the center, a maximum of 14 thousand rubles. But a handful of oligarchs close to the authorities live beautifully, having grabbed at least 7 trillion from budget reserves last year alone. “

Stop the extinction of the country and increase the living wage of compatriots to at least 25 thousand rubles – these are the main requirements of the Communist Party. The requirements also include the return of the previous retirement age. The communists rightly consider the pension “reform” itself to be a real crime of the authorities against their people.

There was a talk at a press conference and about the upcoming September 19 elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. They promise to be hot.

In the sense that there are too many different kinds of provocations around them. “Distinguished”, alas, intelligent, as it was always thought, Petersburg. The scandals began at the stage of preparation for the election campaign. What is the story of the doubles of the then current deputy of the local Legislative Assembly? Boris Lazarevich Vishnevsky… In addition to him, two more documents were submitted to the same single-mandate constituency … Boris Vishnevskikh. As it turned out, both men changed their first and last names literally on the eve of registration.

Your correspondent asked Gennady Zyuganov what measures are being taken by his team in case of appearance of doubles, provocateurs or possible rigging?

“Three hundred thousand volunteers are ready to work in our elections,” the chief communist of Russia replied. – These are literate people, prepared for this particular work. Most of them, by the way, are young, talented, and purposeful. Otherwise, our party is often called “pensioner”, hinting at the age of its members. Nonsense! The ideas of socialism are also close to young people. They may be even better than we, who found the USSR, understand that the course of development of the country, chosen by the previous president and remaining unchanged for the current one, leads to a dead end. Trampling on basic human values.

– Yes, unfortunately, St. Petersburg has become the center of manipulations and fraud, – continues G. A. Zyuganov. “But there are plenty of violations in other regions as well. Representatives of the authorities are inventing more and more new ways of twisting the hands of members of election commissions.

Forcing to rewrite protocols. They are doing everything to push their proteges into deputies. The All-Russian Central Executive Committee, at the suggestion of the Kremlin, came up with a three-day vote, citing world experience. But this is almost nowhere in the world, people are simply making a fool, taking advantage of their insufficient competence in this matter. Our task is to ensure that there are no violations during sealing. Video cameras will allow you to control the situation.

“SP”: – Cameras may not be at all polling stations.

– I know. We are told that there are no funds to provide them with every single site. Disingenuous! But we are ready for this too: our observers will be everywhere, will not lose sight of and will stop any attempts at manipulation. We organize a round-the-clock duty. In addition, our headquarters will be able to track the maximum number of sites throughout Russia. And, if necessary, rewind the video, clarify certain details in suspicious cases.

“SP”: – Gennady Andreevich, your party is popular with the people of Russia. In all previous elections, she gained a lot of votes. However, you never won the majority of seats in parliament.

– If the elections were really fair, we would have won them long ago.
