Alexander Ivannikov, head of Gazprom’s financial department, predicted a new record in gas production over the past ten years. In 2021, it will grow by 55 billion cubic meters of gas to a volume above 510 billion cubic meters. It is reported by “Interfax”.
Ivannikov added that gas exports this year will amount to 183 billion cubic meters of gas, which is six billion more than in 2020. He noted that in 2021 the volume of condensate production will be 16 million tons, which is approximately the same as last year.
According to Ivannikov, the average estimate of gas prices in Europe for the entire current year is $ 270 per thousand cubic meters.
Earlier it was reported that Gazprom stopped selling gas to European buyers for 2022 through its own Electronic Trading Platform. Trading in lots of gas with delivery in the first quarter of 2022 and completely for the whole year has been discontinued. At the same time, contracts for the winter of 2022-2023 and for the full 2023 are still available in the ETP.
