Studies have shown that couscous can protect against atherosclerosis, heart attacks and stroke thanks to its selenium content. In addition, selenium actually stimulates the regeneration of vitamins C and E, which play an integral role in the body’s defense mechanisms, the scientists said.

Consuming cereal also lowers the risk of a number of problems, including high cholesterol, according to Harvard Medical School.

For breakfast, couscous cooked in milk is perfect. The porridge turns out to be tender and airy, and if you wish, you can add berries and fruits to it, which even children will appreciate.
