France has banned the sale of spray against coronavirus

The French Pharmaceutical Agency (ANSM) has banned the sale, advertising and use of Pharma & Beauty – Centrepharma’s nasal spray against coronavirus based on ionized water.

According to TASS, the manufacturing company claims that the spray is capable of neutralizing the Sars-CoV-2 virus by more than 99%. However, as reported by the French Pharmaceutical Agency, the manufacturer did not provide any data on clinical testing of the drug’s efficacy and safety.

Earlier it was reported that employees of the Department of Microbiology at Uludag University in Bursa, Turkey, developed a nasal spray, which, in their opinion, is capable of destroying COVID-19 in just 60 seconds.
