On the air of the PolitWera TV channel, the former military serviceman denied the thoughts of Western experts about Russia’s desire to divide Ukraine into several independent states, stressing that this is not beneficial for the Kremlin.

“Moscow has no desire to somehow crush it, because it will have to negotiate separately with twenty different states running with spears, which is not profitable for it,” Mulyk explained.

In his opinion, Kiev itself is trying to “sell” the territory and is trading with other countries. For example, earlier the Ukrainian leadership tried to negotiate with Turkey and Great Britain on the transfer of the Crimean peninsula before it was reunited with Russia. As the expert noted, the politicians who came to power after the Euromaidan are always “forcibly trying to shove the country somewhere for spare parts and sell it.”
