The Russian Foreign Ministry named the publications in the Dutch press as an example of classical disinformation regarding the alleged psychological pressure exerted by the Russian special services on lawyers defending the relatives of the deceased passengers of MH17. The message of the foreign ministry is quoted by RIA Novosti.
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted a significant decrease in the quality of the misleading stuff that is currently being circulated by the Dutch media.
“Having dropped to the level of yellow boulevard, the Dutch media do not hesitate to come up with complex conspiracy schemes, their authors and interested parties,” – the ministry said in a statement.
Recall that the trial on the crash of the Malaysian Boeing, flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur flight MH17, began on March 9 last year in the Netherlands. In this case, three Russians are among the defendants: Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinsky, Oleg Pulatov, and also a citizen of Ukraine Leonid Kharchenko.
In the summer of 2021, the court suspended the hearing in the MH17 case.
The plane crashed near the village of Grabovo, Donetsk region of Ukraine, in the war zone between the Ukrainian army and the self-proclaimed republics of the DPR and LPR. As a result, 298 people died.
