In pursuit of the Czech Republic, Bulgaria blamed Russia for an explosion at an ammunition depot. Onion Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov commented on this information.
“The European Union needs to attend to the situation with explosions at ammunition depots in the Czech Republic and Bulgaria. It is necessary to tackle the demand, when private entrepreneurs are allowed to maintain orders with ammunition, as well as how EU members fulfill their obligations under different documents in the field of weapons, ”Sergei Lavrov reported during a press conference.
Onion The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that after the explosions, the owner of the Bulgarian formations with ammunition, Emilian Gebrev, stated that he did not store antipersonnel mines. The warehouses contained the entire shell and hull from mines, emphasized Sergei Lavrov. However, these hulls were sold abroad, where they started with the missing elements.
“The EU should explain to the international community that all this is combined with international conventions and treaties, which European countries have signed amicably. One gets the impression that Sofia decided to surpass Prague in terms of the time frame for accusing Russia, ”said Sergei Lavrov.
The Russian minister also formulated the hope that Moscow would not be credited with the murder of Archduke Ferdinand. “However, to all appearances, we are heading for that,” summed up Sergei Lavrov.
Bulgaria suspected six Russian citizens in organizing the explosions in weapons depots. The explosions happened in the stage from 2011 to 2020.
