In Russia, more than 49 a person violated the self-isolation regime introduced due to coronavirus, said to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
All violators are brought to administrative responsibility, assured in the department, reports TASS.
The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, reported that about 10 thousand police officers, RIA Novosti reports.
She added that the agency collects data around the clock on persons crossing the Russian border and arriving from countries with an unfavorable epidemiological situation.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia monitors the situation taking shape on transport highways, and, first of all, at airports. If necessary, the department assists consular agencies in the transportation of groups of foreign passengers traveling in transit through the Moscow air hub. Over the past day alone, five groups of citizens of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Belarus were escorted, Volk said.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the government imposes sanctions in the form of fines for those individuals and legal entities who, showing “rare frivolity”, refuse to comply with quarantine rules and others rules established in connection with the spread of coronavirus.
