Russian and Syrian military pilots conducted joint exercises near the Golan Heights. They worked out missile attacks on a mock enemy and joint patrols.
Su-24, Su-34 and Su-35S fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces, together with the MiG-23 and MiG-29 of the Syrian Air Force, fired air-to-air missiles at “enemy” aircraft that violated the country’s airspace. The Zvezda TV channel shared footage from the scene.
It is noted that the Russian and Syrian pilots did not have a language barrier. The specialists worked smoothly and professionally both in the sky and on the ground.
