Five films by Russian directors were included in the long list of candidates for the Golden Globe. In total, this list includes 138 paintings from 77 countries.

Three Russian films will be able to compete for the prestigious film award: “Dear Comrades!” directed by Andrey Konchalovsky, “Text” by Klim Shipenko and “Sputnik” by Yegor Abramenko.

Two more films were filmed with the participation of Russian filmmakers. We are talking about the “Conference” by Ivan Tverdovsky, which was filmed by Russia, Estonia, Britain and Italy, as well as about the film “Farsi Lessons” by Vadim Perelman, in the filming of which the RF, Belarus and Germany took part.

The shortlist of nominees for the Golden Globe will be announced on February 3, 2021, and the American award ceremony is scheduled for February 28, reports RT.
