Brazilian driver Pietro Fittipaldi will replace Roman Grosjean, who was injured in a serious accident, at the Formula 1 Sahir Grand Prix.
This was reported on the official website of the American Formula 1 team “Haas”. It is noted that this will be the debut race in Formula 1 for the 24-legged Brazilian.
Recall that in the first round of the Bahrain Grand Prix, Grosjean collided with the pilot of the Alpha Tauri team, Daniil Kvyat. Grosjean’s car flew into the bump stop, caught fire and exploded. Fortunately, Grosjean himself managed to get out. He was taken to the hospital. Only melted pieces remained from the car.
The victory at the Bahrain Grand Prix was won by Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen came second to the finish line, and Alexander Albon closed the top three. Russian Daniil Kvyat took 11th place.
